Boston Hidden Gems: The Trophy Room Project

Visit one of the best hidden gems in Boston (or technically, Cambridge)! The Trophy Room Project was started in 2014 by an unknown resident, who placed their trophies on a ledge located under the Longfellow Bridge where it crosses over Memorial Drive in Cambridge.

This hidden gem was started in 2014, when the anonymous citizen started placing trophies that would have otherwise most likely end up in the trash under the bridge. Over the last decade, other people have began contributing to the project and adding their own medals and trophies from obscure events. Now the award count ranges in the hundreds!

No one knows who started the project, no one knows the full list of contributors, and anyone is welcome to add their trophy!

Walk down the pedestrian-only staircase right after the Cambridge city marker or drive under the Longfellow Bridge to get to Memorial Drive to see the hidden trophies. Or see them on our popular Cambridge & Boston Tour!
