SALEM CITY GUIDE
Settled by Puritans in 1626, Salem has long been a maritime town, albeit one with a sordid past. The famous Witch Trials of 1692 brought a frenzy about the town, and today the town is famous for its general “Witchiness” and its annual Halloween celebration, which takes most of the month of October.
